HSE POLICY

Policy Statement Health, Safety and Environment

At EPE Einhaus Pipeline Equipment GmbH, the health and safety of our employees and customers, as well as our commitment to global sustainable development, are of paramount importance. We are committed to creating a working environment that protects the health and safety of all those involved in our activities. Health, safety, environmental protection and climate protection are integral to all our business activities. We believe this approach contributes to the success of the company, as well as to the satisfaction of our employees, customers and partners.

For health, this means:

As an "employer of choice", we promote a working environment that protects the physical and mental well-being of our employees. We are dedicated to taking preventive measures, minimising hazards, preventing illness, and encouraging effective, sustainable health practices.

For safety, this means:

Accidents and work-related illnesses are preventable. We ensure occupational and technical safety for our employees, customers and partners in all business processes and continuously improve the working environment, work processes and workplace design.

For the environment and climate, this means:

The environment in which we move every day is the basis of our existence. We protect it, conserve resources and treat it responsibly at all times. We strive to constantly improve our environmental performance and specific energy consumption. We also support our customers and partners in this endeavour.

For the three areas mentioned above, we work closely with all internal and external stakeholders, in particular with our employees, partners, accident insurers, authorities, associations and other institutions.

Our commitment:

  • HSE is a key management task. Line managers fulfil a key leadership responsibility and act as role models.
  • We are committed to complying with all applicable health, safety and environmental regulations and standards, ensuring that our operations meet local and international requirements.
  • We are constantly striving to improve our health, safety and environmental (HSE) performance. We do this by setting and reviewing measurable objectives and targets, identifying opportunities for improvement, and integrating best practice into our operations.
  • Our aim is to prevent accidents, injuries and environmental incidents by proactively identifying, assessing and managing potential health, safety and environmental risks associated with our operations.
  • We are committed to integrating sustainable practices into our business operations. This includes conserving resources, reducing waste, and developing and producing environmentally friendly products.
  • We address health and safety (HSE) issues and their impact on work practices, processes and products, ensuring that our operations align with public and customer expectations.
  • We promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness among our employees by providing regular training, encouraging open communication, and promoting active participation in health and safety initiatives. This involves ensuring that all employees are aware of their HSE responsibilities and committing to our principles individually.
